What should I do before contacting you?
Make sure that you and your trading partner agree for the trade. Prepare your and his links to steamtrades, steamgifts (if you have one) and steam profiles. Start your conversation with the reason, why have you added me. Don't worry, I'm friendly and patient, but you should save not only my time, but also your partners and yours.
Is it completely free?

Can you guarantee, that my partner wouldn't cheat me by activating my key at different steam account at the same time?
I can't, that's the risk of trading steam keys.
