Usually a clear cache and history fixes this problem for chrome. Chrome frequently have a session file overload, and you cannot log in at some sites.

SteamGifts and SteamTrades members are reporting an issue today with Steam OpenID and Google Chrome. When attempting to login, they are taken back to SteamTrades without actually being logged into the site. We are working on resolving the issue and will try to keep everyone updated. Until then, please use another browser.
