He scammed me for Rise of the Tomb Raider and Dont Starve Together, here are screenshots of the conversation. Looks like he changes his name every day impersonating people with good reputations. Guy sure made my 1st experience here pretty sour.

sucks for the new Tomb Raider ... next time always look up their profile on
steamgifts if it doesn't link to the correct account its clearly a fraud ... [ view pic here]
you might want also consider adding the steam enhanced addon to your browser
... if it works correctly it lists links to steamrep, steamgifts and other someones profile page
if that scammer > http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198262490233
had done more trades someone might've reported him on steamrep²
which takes sometimes forever or - but once it is done (accordingly to their² requirements)
its like being branded a scammer forever ... at least to those who know about the site in the first place
^ steam won't do jack shit ... likely they lift a finger once an
account has been accused of something hundreds of times

Yeah immediately after it happened I noticed all this shit I could of done to prevent it and how obvious it was. I probably wont bother steam trading again, this was a pretty shitty experience.
not trading is certainly the safest option ... although barely anyone
on this site with reputation will scam you for bundled games or a few bucks
I should be able to get another tomb raider key from amazon, they are pretty good about it and I just said it was already redeemed. Idk if ill bother trying to trade again, its a shitty feeling getting scammed lol. Havent gotten scammed like this in about 10 years since phantasy star lol.
yeah, these trades without a system like steam-trade-offers rely merely on trust, which is rather safe here
and else kinda worth the risk if you're willing to substitute the time you'd be using to play
games with game-trades > mostly pointless game gathering² anyway :D
(nothing more time saving than straight buying a bunch of games in a bundle yourself instead²)
trades in pso are a great example/comparison > you'd drop a weapon or mag or whatever and they'd do the same thing next lol ...
which resulted in countless "one sided trades" (was fixed in pso blue burst but that game was released too late)
pro tip: if someone's profile only has about a dozen games in it, they're not an active trader
The other guy who got scammed placed a negative on my feedback. Haven't been able to talk to him yet but at least he accepted my friend request. I sent a message directing him here (while he's offline).
You believe on the website you can manipulate? "steamgifts doesn't have anything with valve or steam",that's the note when you logged in,so next time don't believe on 3rd party websites like that one.
I'm trading just cause 3 and other games but I don't care if someone has 100-1000-10 000 positive rating here, you can manipulate it,instead of steam!
Thanks for the heads up on him impersonating me. He must have woke up feeling really lame today.
WARNING!
Apparently I have an impersonator.

Please, beware this scumbag.
If you got scammed, please bump this thread.
I'll NEVER ask you on Steam to trade some items/games if we didn't speak here first. I can see a lot of people fall for this - he shows you my SteamGifts profile and steals your stuff.
Report him on Steam please!
