Yeah, I know the thread title may sound a bit stupid, but here's the explanation.

So 9th february was my birthday, and an australian friend gave me L4D2. And as you can imagine, he gave me the (AU) version of the game. I live in Argentina, and I'm Argentinian, btw.

This version was released for Australia since the country legislation is a piece of sXit. So Steam had to launch a censored version of the game. There are some issues with the fire and gore, and to sum up, you can only play in low-violence servers. Yeah, it's a huge mountain of cXap.

I wrote to Steam Support asking them if they could swap my copy for a regular one (it's still in my gift inventory). And their answer was "no".

So, since I don't want to negotiate with the zombies instead of killing them, I was wondering if anyone is willing to get a low-violence FPS, and give me the regular one in return. I'm afraid there's is no one willing to do so, but I'm posting this anyway.

Thanks for reading, and sorry for the sXitty english.

I heard many people activated such copy, then wrote to steam support and they unlocked the game. But it doesn't always work.
