i live in Iran and the only way i had to get games on steam was trading for me, because thanks to USA sanctions no online store supports our credit cards and there is no way that money transactions over internet is possible for us so 3 years ago i started trading and after some time i could increase what i had at start, steam detects my region as USA (i dunno why) therefor all store prices are in $ for me and no game is region locked for me but what is the good thing in this when we are not allowed to buy anything online in any ways?
Now with the very tactical attack they did which was in 3 steps:
30 days cools down for bought games on steam (which was blocking me from getting new releases from other traders)
7 days cool down for items bought through market
completely region locking every game ( do i need to explain this? )
i am so confused what to do now? i have nearly 80 keys and now i see in market they are dropping price like never before, should i just sell my keys for steam wallet amount which i can not even use at store or i should just keep my keys and hope they change this rule or hope for a new way to be found in future to get games?
