Yesss let's go! Also if I block a user does their posts also gets hidden? Or they keep visible? It would be perfect if their posts also disappear from my timeline since I don't want to communicate them again.

Also it will need small little touch. They cant comment on our trade threads but can reply to our messages in different threads of other persons. Blocked user should not be able to contact us here at all if he is blocked.
and im sure some toxic users will be able to even write negative review just to tell you their pov at any cost cuz they will be offended when they notice they cant contact you because itll be only possible way. Review system doesnt work as it should anyway, ppl do not vote based on review itself but on personal feelings about user/s. Oh SketCZ got -rep? I dont like him, lets click allow...

Another thing, unrelated: I keep getting rate limited.
I enter Steam trades, click on my trades, pick my specific trade, usually that's enough to trigger Error 1015. I then wait 10 seconds and refresh, and only then I can actually bump my trade.
Please add an option so blocked users can’t view our posts. This would help prevent impersonators from targeting and attacking our customers who comment on our posts.
If you logout you can see everything anyway. That should be changed too. Only logged-in users will be able to see the threads / offers / comments.
Also would be great that the blocked person will not see us at all, our threads, our posts, our comments etc.
It also will be great to prevent trade hijacking.
There is no chance to prevent impersonators anyway, they can easiy create "checking account" just to see all the posts.
For trade Hijacking its best to add option like private message or something like that. Other will see message like "This message is private." Only the host and who are you replying to can see your message. That way other can see there is one conversion going but can't see the actual conversation. It's just my opinion, I don't know if you can actually do that in this site :D
Many peer-to-peer commerce sites hide comments (or add an option to keep comments invisible) until the poster/seller responds.
I was kind of thinking of Lestrades message system when I said that. Where you can just chat just two of you. But steam trades is different so I am not sure about that 😅
a small UX feedback: imho the button should be directly under the space between ''visit steam profile'' and the reputation to make it more visible

Seems to be working as intended. If anything it probably needs to be stricter.
I like the "Show more..." button for long lists. It makes the description that usually has important info easily visible.
A search filter would be really cool. So I can filter out people who don't want game trades when I want a game.

I think this feature is kinda useless, considering we can still see posts of blocked users...
It would be a really nice if by blocking users we could essentially filter out their posts, which would be especially helpful when searching for specific games.

Because when we r in rush to get a game we send multiple offers to different user. So in that rush moment we might send offer to that blocked person, which we don't want to do in general. So making the blocked user post hidden is the best feature i guess.

Abstrazard, that was an interesting point. But it’s probably also the reason why other game‑trading websites are or were more successful. I actually liked this feature at first, but it’s barely thought through. And the new optional region indicator is placed in a spot where no one would ever look for it.
ya after u mentioned about the region thing. i was looking where it went! Then i find out it's on the bottom left, which is barely visible. I think admin will take notes from these suggestions & do better for the community when he gets time.

I just launched a new feature a number of you have been requesting. You can now block users.
To block someone, simply visit their profile and click the Block User button at the bottom of the sidebar. Once blocked, that user will no longer be able to comment on your trades.
You can manage your blocked users at any time by going to My Profile in the navigation and selecting My Blocks. You are able to block up to 1,000 users.
