yeah he wasn't being rude razuto, he was telling you the truth, everyone gets tons of dota 2 keys from valve for free they're worthless, there is a whole post on reddit of people giving them away for free. It's not like you're the only person who gets them. It's not impossible to get something with them, it is just highly unlikely you will get the game you posted for.
