To clear up the confusion: A while back I decided to just stick with what I have instead of getting a third "currency" involved, because I was all confused as to which keys are ok to accept and which are crap. And with prices like 1.5 key (half a key?). I was too lazy to do the research on this so yeah, that's why I never exepted keys.
By now I think I could've gotten couple of my wishlisted games already if I just accepted them, tho. Is there any useful source that covers the basics about trading with keys that you could pinpoint me to?
On your list I didn't see anything from the first look, btw.
Yeah, I get where you are coming from, and I had the initial issue myself as well. Turns out, all the keys are valued around the same price and regulated by the market with slight deviation here or there. You get the CS:GO Case Key which opens any Valve series case, and for the rest you'll need specific keys which you've probably heard of like the Spectrum 2 Case Key or the Gamma Case Key etc. But as I said, all keys are valued the same, so you can pick any, and then trade it on for others, for games, or sell them directly on Steam's community market to gain Steam funds.
Generally speaking, when people talk about 0.5 keys (1.5, 3.5 etc.) the 0.5 is either a CS:GO Capsule Key, or a Team Fortress 2 Tour of Duty Ticket.
