That is not true. Iam from EU too and I tried selling some HB keys to USA residents and they did not work, unfortunately. :/
I wish you were right though as I had the same info as you before.
The keys I'm selling here can be activated in EU & USA, which has been verified by other HB buyers. Only in rare cases keys from EU can't be activated in USA. I suggest you checked region lock info on steamgifts.com if you buy game bundles.
