Sure, but I have to say that Zonitron pack is bundle with like 10 games, none of which gives +1 but all or almost all have cards. You can't sell those cards but you can trade them for valuable stuff.

This isn't true. I've just got booster pack for Break Into Zatwor.
That would be great. I'm level 240+ on Steam with almost 5,000 games. I get booster packs every week. I have never noticed one for a discontinued game. But we don't have to guess. Steam shows which games are eligible for booster packs under the badges tab. I own Break Into Zatwor and many other discontinued games. None of them show on the list for me. Maybe just for you?

They are not on the list because they are not in the store.

You could be right. It still requires someone to craft a badge to create a booster pack drop. That won't happen much, if at all, for games that are no longer sold and where you cannot buy cards in the market. As I said, I'm high level and I don't recall ever getting one. You could be right but that means 'never' becomes 'almost never'? Still not a big attraction.
It is still possible to create booster packs using gems, even for those games. But I agree, rare human would craft it these days. It's really a miracle I got one.
