I would recommend not trade giftlinks till they fix it, cus you can lose all your HB games
It's a personal choice. Consider a majority of the people who want giftlinks exclusively are likely to be retraders/resellers. If their activities are flagged, the heat will likely be on you aswell.
In my 174+trades that I didn't get repped, I've only ever wanted gift link a handful of times and even then, sometimes the person didn't have it and I accepted key (because the game was for a friend and I couldn't confirm if the item worked or not until they came online)
It's inconvenient but with things going pear shaped, I'd refrain from trading gift links...specially the bundle purchases on ST, as the buyer naturally only wants gift links for those. Now imagine if they use the same email to redeem multiples of the same bundles they bought from different users :s
If you haven't checked, you can try looking for matches on barter.vg to see if you can find someone to trade keys with.
My account is not disabled so didn't get any email, but others did some I seen from negative reviews to others. Read the twitter or that steamgifts links I posted if you want to find out more about it

I'm glad I'm not buying any bundle on this site anymore, just trading here or gets games from keyshops. People can't even hold games/gifts unrevealed for themself, because they can lost account too , because of suspicion of game trading.
I heard about this 5 months back, and have only traded keys since then. Suggest everyone to do the same as well. I'd just add one thing, giftlinks aren't the problem, but gifting links to resellers is.
i got banned last month for buying my bundle and a friends bundle on his acc with the same card soooo GG no more humble bundle for me
if you got banned for just use same card, I think you can contact support, maybe they will unban you
yes you can, but.... you will lose all unused game keys you have bought already. So it's better to avoid the ban

People stop trading giftlinks, I have not heard new bans, but I still won't be trading giftlinks. I know it's kinda too late, but have you tried to contacting HB support to get unbanned?
I am not banned, i'm disabled and yes, i tried, by mail, twitter support and even making a new account.
There is nothing i can do, go to trials is the only and i'm from Spain so no, will cost me a lot more money than what i have in the account but this people is literally stealing me coz i can't access my account so i can't see the keys i pay for and after disable my account also revoked 2 entire bundles with no refund.

Very possible. Don't buy same bundle multiple times, because they could take that as trader especially if you use giftlinks after it
What actually happens now is they disable your ability to continue purchasing from Humble since removing your access to things you already purchased is illegal regardless of their ToS. Just an FYI.

I don't think this is real.
Gift links are created exactly to be shared with anyone. It is a simple link that when opened links the game (the key) to the account of destination.
I made a bit of research and this is mostly something made up by a single case, also not really on point (a guy who bought MULTIPLE copies of the same bundle to TRADE on GREY maket!). This then went spreading all over the world... without a solid reason.

People had to pause giveaways back in day because "Humble account disabled after receiving or gifting games through gift links. " This is confirmed that was happen. And yes that happen long time ago, but still was it confirmed it was ever fixed? People did massively stop trading giftlinks, so you can't even tell if it was fixed or not. I jsut don't want new people to get Humble account disabled because they traded multiple games to retrader
