Its impossible to delete a steam trades account, anyone with a steam account can be found on steam trades soo this was likely a bullet avoided.
If you have his steam account i could link you his steam trades and steam rep pages. One of them is likely flagged for whatever

This is a first for me since any steam account can be found on steam trades without making an account(shows id instead of a username) Soo this was likely someone who was banned from streamtrades. I could be wrong thou
I found evidences that he scammed another user (stole his Forager key). So this was definitely a scam.
I reported his Steam account. hopefully he get banned :)
I very much doubt that he'll get banned. I've reported so many scammers like this one. I suppose the way steam see it is you trade at your own risk.

Apparently he did the same thing to another user, who sent him a Forager key but didnt get a key in return.
I can confirm, the user mentioned as a scammer is indeed a scammer who did exactly the same to me. Slightly different wording mind you, but the same tactic. He offered games from my wishlist, paid close attention that the games were bundled as to mask his intent. Be warned of this person, as he's poaching on newly created accounts with low trade rep. Possibly easyier prey.
Same happened to me. Nice one for warning everyone.. I should have done the same.
It also seems he is trading keys on that he has scammed... He's not got the game he scammed off me listed in his library.
Me and a friend sniffed this dude out a while back, he's definitely just looking around for people with low rep. He deleted me after I kept questioning his stuff because I guess he knew I wasn't an idiot.

I got a friend request on Steam from a certain Smokalotapotomus.

He then sent me this message:
"I'm interested in Vampyr and Call Of Cthulu. I have both Batman Enemy Within The Telltale Series and Batman The Telltale Series. From your steam wishlist I have Don't Starve and Dead Cells"
I replied with "Hi, can you please comment on the steam trade thread?"
he replied
"Hey, I would if I could. I deleted my steam trades account to focus more on university. I didn't know that once you delete it's permanently removed. If you are hesitant I can wait till you have 10 rep and I will go first no problem"
I found this request to be super fishy:
I told him "Sorry I only trade with people who have steam trade score/rep, unless you start first, because you have no steamtrades rep while I have 5+ and own 1200 Steam games... ". He then blocked me.
It is possible that this was not a SCAM, but to me it sounds super fishy.
