CS:GO keys are a Steam inventory item. People earn them by playing CS:GO. You can sell them on the Steam market to get usually around $2.25 after fees in your Steam wallet. On these forums, people use them as trade currency, where each one is considered to be valued at about $2.00.
I suggest looking at some of the higher reputation users on here and see how many keys they offer games for. It will give you a good idea of what games are valued at. Here's a hint, MGSV is NOT worth the Steam price, since of course it was just in a Humble Monthly bundle. So take a look around and eventually you will start learning more about how to value your games.
He offered CSGO case keys which can be used to open dropped Weapon Cases. If you're not familiar with it, just decline the offer. :)

I have written program in Python, that compares two wish lists against two profiles and tells what you and other person want from each other(so you don't need to compare list of 200+ titles you have and other dude has). As bonus, it tries to guess from steam if game is Linux compatible, if you said it to do so.
