Summary
Reputation

This is probably the only reputation I'll leave on SteamGifts.

I've had a very negative experience with this user. They initially offered me a game that was previously given away for free for a game that wasn't given away for free, so I calmly pointed them to my description. They responded very rudely ("Please shut up. Thanks.") and then later messaged me on Steam, calling me impolite and ignorant in my valuation.

You can tell by this guy's Steam profile and trade history that he was never actually serious about trading. Just there to waste everyone's time.

Refused to give the games he'd offered for trade first- and while I usually always go first, I was unwilling to do so for someone whom had as a much lower reputation on the site we were trading on, had negative reputation, and whom decided it was a good idea to start the trade conversation with a fierce [and baseless] insult.

He then ignored my prompts and finally 'lol goodbye' 'd me, immediately unfriended me, and blocked me on steam.

Which, okay, annoying, but not near big enough a reason to neg rep him and likely get retaliatory neg rep in return, since nothing was lost.

But then, after bailing on the deal, he felt the need to make a final quip mocking my brain damage- something, mind you, that hadn't come up at all, so he intentionally searched my profile for something to insult me with.

And mocking someone for a disability- especially one irrelevant to a topic at hand, that's a line that no decent human being would cross.

You can see from their retaliatory feedback that they refused to address the matter in person, or admit to any mistakes- nevermind their rather creative fantasy on how events occurred, and baseless assumptions of my circumstances.

And of course, there's the fact that not only did they not apologize for their mocking of my disability- which again, never came up in our trade to begin with- they claim I 'use it as an excuse' in their feedback. Excuse for what? Who knows :P

Really classy bloke :P

I was rude, you were a liar (5 years later, I still believe you are one). Also, learn the difference between being mocked, and being called a liar.

If anything, you were the one mocking people with brain damage by pretending to be one.
