These last summer deals, I bought games on this platform worth over 3000 euros, leaving absolutely all the savings i had.
The problem comes when a user traded me a number of team fortress 2 items (keys) and cs: go keys too, which proved to be hacked from other accounts. (This is what they answered me when i first send the ticket when they saw my question about, my freshly banned account.
Steam just directly blocked me and said I have grievously violated the law and beware not to force them to take legal action against me, when I accepted a legal exchange ONLY, with no idea of the origin of those keys/items. There are millions of people on reddit, steamtrades, outpost, bazaar, and this user was a legit one, he got his account banned too, another victim.
They are the ones that allow the exchange of objects from hacked accounts, and then they ban all accounts that passed those keys ... amazing. Why don´t they just imput a pin code on every each trade so in case of an account being hijacked, the thief can´t trade anything withjout the password, avoiding the stupid shield they imput of 7 days that its useless.
The thing is, I paid for all those games on summer, over 1,000 in inventory, and robbed me (will not let me send them, or use them or do anything with them, I lost all rights to my own games)
I have sent a thousand tickets, and only turn a deaf ear and tell me they are sorry but it's over ...
I have plans to expand the news, make them bad publicity, I have absolutely nothing to hide. Collection of signatures, many users even know me for over 2 years and in my steam account I made over 5,500 exchanges, as well as market sales and lot of things. SUMMARY: Steam bans me unfairly by receiving stolen items from other accounts in a legal exchange , I bought more than 3000 euros in games with my own paypal, and now they tell me that I will not recover them, never, they do not read my tickets, send them despite all my written on them. It is an injustice and I'm broke.
IMPUT A PIN CODE FOR TRADES!!!!!! Is that the kind of support we need??? We just pay and pay thousands, and they treat us like trash, for gods sake...
A friend of mine, that i met on steam, had the same problem last year, and he got his account back, he just met a good support guy who understood him, but i cant find a nice person in support who wants to hear me.
BEWARE with your accounts, steam does not help anyone, and you can lose all the money you invested in a very unfair way.
