"Checking" keys for legit shouldve sent off alarm bells. You said yourself it was "worth the risk". Unfortunately you have to deal with it now.

And well, no you won't get back your keys.
You can't say if key was not used, because Steam FIRST checks:
- if you already got the game
- if you can activate it
only THEN it checks if key was used or not.
When a person says he doesn't have a steamtrade account you always have to be suspicious my friend!
If he also refuses to log in there and post profile link, I ALWAYS stop trading in that moment (and add to blacklist).
Have you made screenshot of chat? Pastebin tells nothing to prove on SteamRep. Also will be good screenshot of your Inventory History and screenshot of his lib before and after trade, showing that he had not that games before.

Go to your Inventory, at top right there are link Inventory History, make screenshot of your trade with him.
And for God's sake, learn about middleman. You made your trade sooo complicated.

So. I just got scammed. He seemed legit, cause he sent me a dead island key (Which is btw not available in my region, so i could check if the key is legit without activating it) and his account was 2 years old. After that i traded him my bundle. He said that he'll send the ekys in a few seconds, but shortly after that he went offline. I feel so dumb now.
