What the f*ck is Silo 2 ?

Would you like to create and sell your own games and you dont know how to create your own 3D models?
or maybe are you a developer?
or you wanna be a 3D Digital Artist?
or create your own models for Dota 2 workshop? (or any other game)
or you just like to draw?

Well, this is the best choice you can get, and with the best price! let me explain you why :)

First from all, there are too much softwares for doing this kind of stuff, more or less known, but few are as intuitive and as easy to learn as in this program (unless you want to pay a $6000.00 USD license for a professional software like Cinema 4D, Maya or 3D Max. But I think that just 16 keys for just a game is more reasonable)

Yes, you may know blender, who is free and got a lot of stuff. But it is one of the most complex softwares to handle, and you can take a lot longer to learn how to handle it. And even knowing how to use it may take you a lot longer to do something here that in Silo 2 you'll end up in a few minutes (for some reason blender it's free). Also the tools that each software have are different and are better for different things.

From mobile games to last generations titles, Silo 2 can be your best tool to model on 3D every single thing. Or if you just love to create models and scenes for artworks, wallpapers or whatever what you wanna do, this software is what u're looking for.

Try googling "Silo 2" on Google Images or videos, or search on Youtube, and you'll got a little idea of what you can do with this program.

And about the price, 16 CS:GO is worth on $40,00 USD (or $39,84 to be more exactly) and the original price is $119.99 USD. And this kind of software almost never is put on sales, and if they does, it will not be cheaper than this.

Nice explanation about this software, but doubt anybody will be interested in 3D modeling software here, maybe you can try selling it on the forum mentioned above since there will be more people interested in this kind of stuff.

In my humble opinion btw, even while it's more easier software to learn, i don't think in any way it will replace the flagships like 3Ds Max,Maya (even though it's more used for animation) or Blender and yes, while they may be more complex, they also have more features. Like, if you are looking for a job as a graphic designer and you only know to model with Silo 2, that company won't hire you unfortunetly, because the industry mainly relies on 3Ds Max, Maya and Blender, though for your own projects it will be good. The thing is that in those easier to learn CG softwares for animation and modeling don't really benefit you for a job, because you won't know how to work with the more complex ones.

For example, Poser - it's an animation software, but it lacks many core features in softwares used by industries and barely benefit you anything about animating professionally. The only program that's not that hard to learn, but still needs effort is Source Filmmaker - you can do the same quality of content like a Maya animation and it has all the important tools and features that are used in Maya and will benefit you at animation developing, but then again - Maya is better because it's more advanced and the industry relies on it.

Anyway, wish you good luck at selling your software :)!

Hello, first of all thanks for taking the time to read and comment on the thread. I will consider your recommendation about trying to sell it on the forum, I don't know how I hadn't realized of that before :P

Overall I have the same opinion on everything you said. Of course if you don't know how to use the most used programs by biggest companies, it will be difficult get hired. But to learn how to use them you can do it with student's versions or, in some cases, just downloading pirate versions. Then probably the company that will hire you will be responsible for providing you the software with their respective business license.

But my intention in the explanation I give on the thread, is to make clear that for indie developers or just enthusiasts who aim to work with a legal software, enabling them to market their product without problems and without spending much money, Silo 2 with this offer is a great option. But of course it is advisable to try to cover the widest possible variety of programs in this area. But sometimes the money barrier is too high, and this case is the exception :)

Have a nice day!
