no bro, was a game with a big offer, and the price was around 5 or 7.5 dlls, ty
But its not now so no one is going to buy it for $40 and trade for 2-3 TF2 Keys
Normally, most people would agree with your logic on pricing; however, steam games are a different playing field. There's nothing certain in life except for death, taxes, and Steam (holiday, weekend, etc.) sales meaning that the game is worth as much as its lowest steam price (divide by 2 if russian pricing). Competition between traders means that the price on the market will drop, and since digital games cannot "expire" or "decay", it's only logical that buyers ONLY pay for the lowest price given the absolute certainty of steam sales year round. Supply/Demand dictates that we won't pay full price for any game (unless it's a pre-purchase/new release), and we'll sell to the highest offer.
In summary/ TL;DR: Ask yourself, Why pay full price for something you know will go on sale?
Why have a market for game exchanges if prices will be near full price?
Why not make your price lower than other traders, so you sell games faster?
fast foward things some years later and here we are today.
