As the title says, after getting some negative trade rep comments on my steam profile despite my only trade in the last two years being a background for a coupon, I'm pretty confident someone is impersonating my profile to take advantage of my 100 trade rep from back in the day.
This is a warning to everyone that I haven't been trading for upwards of two years now and that if you're added by me (or anyone really) for a trade it is ALWAYS important to check and double check that the person you're talking to is actually the person whose trade profile you're looking at.
As someone whose very first trade was ruined by someone impersonating a high-rep trader I understand how absolutely frustrating and devastating it can be to lose any value of items to trade scams like this, so if anyone it able to help me shed light on the situation I'd greatly appreciate it, as presently neither of the people who were scammed accepted my friend requests to try to talk to them and get information, so I'm basically without any leads on finding and reporting the impersonating account.
