No one is going to trade you a Steam edition 1 to 1 for a uPlay edition. The Steam edition is more valuable since it can only be bought on Steam + has the Steam bells and whistles like cards and such. I'm not trolling you with this post, but your expectation is unrealistic. Its just not going to happen.
My thought process was that there was someone with a Uplay library who wouldn't mind making this trade.
Anyway, you're right. It's been a while since I've been back on this site and I kinda got out of touch. I'll add some stuff from my part on that trade and edit my post. Thanks for the heads-up.
uPlay libraries mean absolutely nothing except one way: i.e. I personally don't mind uPlay versions as I dont have an irrational hatred of the service/don't mind having more than one, but the reason for that is because the uPlay version is 99.9999% of the time cheaper. Steam versions for Ubisoft games almost always require uPlay, but they're always more expensive too. If I can get a game cheaper on uPlay, my thought process is Im taking the uPlay version bc of cost.. If I have an equal choice, its Steam all the way.
If I was dealing w/ you and I had a Steam version, I'd personally count the uPlay version as half the value of the Steam version in our discussion. If I go to a site like CDKeys or even Amazon, if I buy Anno, I can only get a uPlay version and its always cheaper. The Steam version can only be bought on Steam, just like GTA V. I buy GTA V anywhere other than Steam its Rockstar DRM.
Fair points. I just want all my fruits in one basket (in this case Steam), even if it runs Uplay on the side.
I don't think I'd mind matching the price you said in your reply; I guess I'd be paying for my own "convenience".
I dont have anything from your want list but im free to ask if you would like anything from here
Trade the Uplay code along with something else, which has to be discussed with the interested person for:

Information
I am interested in any of the game(s) posted in the wanted section, as well as other common trade item(s) such as TF2/DotA2 Keys or Refined Metal.
Games that are tagged as reserved for someone have a low chance of being traded, the person that reserved the game having the highest priority. Removal of that tag grants equal priority to everyone, on the basis of first-come-first-serve.
Please do not add me on Steam unless we've agreed to that here.
