I had some difficulty finding who scammed me, especially because it took nearly 2 months until my game was removed... but a quick Google search helped. I have already reported him to Steam Support. Be careful when trading for Steam keys. If possible, trade only for giftable game copies.

Just posting here to warn others (and to remind those who have already been scammed by him).

No problem!

Hopefully the other victims will see this and give him more negative rep.

Thank you very much for the information. I have one question though, are you sure that he traded you a steam key and not a humble store gift url?

I checked the guy's profile and it seems that you were not the only one he scammed, but based on the previous review, I figured that what he probably traded you was a humble store gift URL. Those are the main problem right now as people can buy from humblebundle using stolen credit cards. When the owner recovers his/her card, a chargeback is performed and thus the hb store loses the money. This is the main reason why they switched from Steam keys to this system.

Basically, before this, humblebundle had to eat the loss and now the final buyer/ the person who decides to keep the key is the one who has to handle the loss.

I personally wouldn't advise people against trading for keys as they are quite safe and even in the case of a chargeback, the store is the one who eats the loss, the humble store links are the ones that I recommend staying away from.

Well my first scammed game was a Steam key, and Steam Support told me to contact the 3rd party. So basically, they won't do anything about it. I still have Steam keys up for trade, but I'm just advising/warning against it.

Steam support is pure shit, they always wash their hands of troubles ocurring during trading.
I`m sorry for what happened to you. I was scammed 2 times since the trading-thing started, and the people from support never did anything to solve my issues.

Thanks. Unfortunately, it can happen no matter how careful you are.

And I completely agree with you. I hope Steam Support makes some procedural changes in the near future. fingers crossed
