Number one rule when trading with someone you didn't ask to add you or added yourself from this forum: Have them post in your trade thread, so you can see their rep and do a direct link from that post to their steam profile. (Why I tend to add everyone I trade with. So I can direct link from steam trade profile to steam profile)
Yes, its really easy to detect a scammer, that's why i trolled him in the video above :P
I asked him for $1 and im telling you, no scammer would ever send $0.01
Funny, but too long :P I have him already on my blocklist, seems to be a well-known scammer of BigHeart.
Free bump!
that's the second time someone tries to scam me like that so i decided to make a video :P
Iam offering protection against most of the scamming ways. Not just impersonating scams. And what's your problem with me making $ when i dont require you to pay, none even asked to you pay if you don't want. You shouldn't even be posting here in the first place.
Scammers are so obvious. Majority of them make it easy to detect that they aren't who they say they are.
It has gotten disgusting. People tell me every day that someone pretending to be me has added them and tried to scam them.
Please, PLEASE, cross-check the profile of the person you're talking to with the profile from Steamtrades link before you trade anything with anyone!
Yeah, scammers will never stop, we have to stop them. New people come to this forum probably everyday, so if they don't read a warning they're most likely getting scammed.
Beware for there are some illusion scammers around, the have the same profile image on steam and the same name as someone who has much reputation here, earning your trust easy, while it's not difficult to understand their dark plans. Watch the follow video to understand better, and be careful before you trade your key or for paypal.
