It is not scamming. They are gift games. And for Aerena you cannot get trade cards if you take it as a ffree to play from Steam. But if you activate it as a inventory game, you get the cards

Maybe Aerena is f2p, but you cannot get cards. If you activate a gift game, you get cards.

I got 4 of 8 and after a while, they offered another 2, I do not know why. Not as a booster pack, as cards from playing!
