As a personal tip, it'll be hard for you to find experienced people (with many reps) here willing to go first with you. If you're concerned, only trade with high rep'd (on this site, of course) people until you can build your own rep.

It's more the fact that a random person added me on what I assume is your account and told me that you wouldn't be able to exchange your key until you got home. A little shady to me. I have no issues going first if I feel like it's not so.

Oh, I was going to wait until I had it anyway before I would ask for yours. And to clarify, if you read the "I Have" section of this thread, you'll see that I have some "categories" for them. One of them being: "From a friend's list, also available for trading:". What that means is that I have a friend that doesn't trade here, but he leaves his spare keys at my disposal for me to trade for games to both of us. Ravensword is one of the games that is his, not mine, and at the moment we talked, he was away, but on his way home, so I had to wait until he got home to pass me the key, so I could trade it with you. But well, it is what it is.
And by the way, it wasn't a "random person", since we were exchanging messages here, and I told you I was gonna add you right before I did. :P Another tip: you can always click on my profile here and follow to the steam account linked on this profile to verify if it's the same person that added you.

Somebody just added me and called it to my attention. Weird, since I'm not even a big trader. I've already reported him to Steam for impersonation. Do you know what else can I do? I'll add a warning here, but not sure how effective it is.
Ask a friend to give you a negative with a warning which he will later remove. Change your profile picture with something with a warning message that you are being impersonated. That guy is a total dickhead, I caught him trading rep for rep and now he started scamming and leaving random negatives.
There are no admins on steamtrades so you can't hope for something else except him finding another victim.
