AMD has gone after code abuse before. It'd be easy for them to refund and revoke the keys through newegg since they can see who purchased them not bundled with a card. I especially wouldn't risk it with the 2 most important games not having their steam keys released yet.
That's why I said "probably". They will try to correct the mistake if it's easy enough to do. They have revoked amd codes in the past and required verification for a big batch of AMD codes that people were reselling before.
Different circumstances entirely. They sold a product and people paid for it. If it was a mistake , legally the consumer is absolved if it was not handled before the purchase. Basic law.
That only applies to physical items that you receive. Of course they cannot revoke those. They can revoke and refund digital items all they want, especially since you just pay for a license.
The codes expire on 9/8. They did this to clear stock. The discount was in effect for almost 24 hours. These are probably safe.
