Feedback is a LOT more difficult to fake on this site , its why its such a popular site. Also steamrep is another good site.
Facebook is used sure. But not as a source of long-standing rep. Just as a place to get in touch with people through groups.

I do have 3 negative feedback from 2 different scammers and 1 from a little kid. Didn't even trade with any of them. But it happens when you trade as much. Eventually you will get the attention of some little kid or troll.
