Moral of the story, don't be a douche, you wanted my game, I wanted your BL2, BL2 is more profitable to me and I do not want any more TWD, which I told you, and is simple, I'm stressed out and yes you calling me a liar and telling me to grow balls pissed me off but you shouldn't write stuff like this about other people, in no way have I done wrong to you other than not trade back a trade you WANTED to do and APPROACHED ME about, Please, remove this post.
EDIT - I also love how you've edited the conversation between us both
Another Edit (lol) - If I had screenshots from last night I would post them, you added me out of the blue and were interested in my game and you had some time to think, then asked me to do the trade and you can not say otherwise, you seem to keep calling me a liar but you have not mentioned that, I think it's pretty obvious I'm not going to trade back. You're acting like I've scammed you or something.
I didn't edited nothing. I just didn't post the first discussion which, as I said, the trade went very smooth. Yes BL2 is more profitable, and you should have stopped there. I called you a liar because you said from the first line that you bought the especially for me, which wasn't true! Then you said you probably mixed up (and then I apologised), and said the game it was reserved for some guy. Well, as I asked you, what game will you offer to this guy now?
I said I must have got you mixed up with another trade if the copy I had was not already pre-ordered from me, I apologized for that, there is 0 need for this thread and I find it extremely unprofessional and I don't need anything to offer to him, I get my other half to buy from Aus and trade the copies from him, I purchase on demand, if there's a demand I purchase, if you give me a demand or someone else does I will, other wise I have no need for more TWD, I explained this :/
Interesting story,i am on the side Krissy. But its steamtrades, not steamSTORIES,place this elsewhere, not here
I don't see why you felt the need to post this honestly. Yes, the other trader played on your lack of knowledge which might be immoral but not much more.
You aren't much better in that respect as originally you thought you traded a 25$ game for a 60$ one which is why you traded in the first place I guess. Had that been actually the case (without AU price bug) would you have traded the game back if the other person had asked you so? I am going to venture a guess and say no
Also, trading forum is for trading etc. etc.
I didn't play on his lack of knowledge, he approached me, I wasn't offering TWD in any threads, he added me. He also had some time to think and I gave him a choice of games, he said "give me some minutes" or something, then went ahead and traded after choosing TWD
Exactly, he thought he was making a huge profit and would have dropped you from friends faster than a hot potato + ignored had he not found out about the aussie price (which still makes this a fair-ish trade in my eyes) but w/e
He even still has the game in his inventory meant for retrading I assume
Oh, the hypocrisy !
Blargh, and yeah I think it's relatively the same anyway and tbh I thought everyone knew the price glitch in Aus, however I am in England but did purchase it cheaper than what my store price would be obviously lol
And yep he can still retrade it, the BL2 was from a 4pack anyway which makes it even cheaper than $20 doesn't it? :S
I meant he only did the trade in the first place thinking he made a huuuuuuuge profit for re-trade, unlike some crazy offers I see like [H] Skyrim [W] Bioshock 1, where the person actually wants the game to play.
And now hes making it seem like he was the victim of a daylight robbery/major swindling =O
XD I just had to google iirc, but yes, $20 :P which still isn't bad for a 4 pack copy of BL2
Nothing would have escalated if money wasn't such a priority on both sides.
Close the thread, you've lost the game for sure now.
You shouldn't care what the other person is doing with the game you trade to them. If you feel Walking Dead is worth Borderlands 2, then trade and move on.
Moral of the story: You thought trading = Maximum profit for you only, always, forever.
If someone else gains anything from your trade, immediately throw a shitstorm (exaggeration ofc) =)
BIIATCH FIGHT! Same happened to me once, i got Sims Medievel for a good game I ownedand noticed later, that it was on sale in Australia for $2.49... I had to live with that :) but managed to trade it away for another game...... But SERIOUSLY, do this thread on steamgifts, but NOT HERE!
EDIT: And I sold tf2 keys once at 2.66 ref when they were at 3.66 ref by mis(drunk)take... so don't cry baby, don't cry!
Thank you, not to mention it had personal information about myself that I gave him, if he hasn't edited that out like he edited other parts anyway
Well, you can sue me for publish private chat.
The only thing that bothered me was the way you answered my civilized and friendly asking. Nothing else... I thought your are a mature person with who I can have a discussion, even is contradictory. But apparently, no - you blocked me as soon as possible.
Hope you enjoy your profit, maybe you can buy some fair-play and character in the near future with it.
P.S I apology to whoever was disturbed by this thread, have a nice day/evening!
you're in the wrong here you did the trade and should stick by it.plus you're actually being pretty rude in the chat.
Firstly, I've decided to make this thread just to see if I was the one who proceeded wrong, to learn from my mistakes.
A few hours ago I traded my Borderlands 2 (tradable) with KrissyRawrz for her "The Walking Dead Survival Instinct", not knowing about the price region from Australia. Everything went very smooth, she was very friendly like most of the traders around here :D. After a few hours I found out how things are, and as I saw she still got my game in the inventory, I decided it will worth a shot to try talking to her, maybe she will be reasonable. I didn't expected to accept the trade-back request, but neither at the way she handle it.
Here's the discussion between us: Clicky
P.S Moral of this story - pay more attention when you trade :).
