steamrep is not a rep site, it only shows current status and previous offences.
Sourceop is a rep source that is usually valid.
I have to say i am impressed he got that gamestop gift card picture. Maybe its an old one. If you google game stop gift card, none of them have that design anymore.
But better to be safe, especially when you're dealing with $50
kudos that you didn't rush into thing. Many new users to steamtrades would have and gotten scammed.
