I could probably do both for about $5, but to be honest, you'd probably be better off just buying the full bundle since I sell all of the complete BTA bundles at $7.50. My normal prices are a little lower than 50% of the current base price, which would actually come out to be between $10 and $14 for both, the only reason why I'd drop the price a bit is because I have multiple copies.
These things were buy 4 for $5, so imo that is too much. I'd be just looking for it to add to my game count and I can do that with better games for the same price. For tradeables I agree with the 50% base price but that seems just way too high for indie gala keys.
I feel that after they're not available anymore in bundles, they shouldn't be sold as scrap, which is what some people believe. They're still the full game, whether tradeable or not, and are still cheaper than what you'll generally find anywhere else. I store up multiple copies of bundles because the best clients for these are those who missed the bundle, it's not fair that I spend so much on them and sell them at cost, it serves no purpose then. And I also have to spend the money to buy the first copy right away in order to get extras from Happy Hour, so it's still a proper investment. I'd also have to sell all of the copies I have of each bundle just to barely make a profit if I sold them for such a low price (meaning <$3), and that's too much of a risk. Once I sell enough to profit a little bit, then I can decrease my prices, but until then, I have to maintain some sort of consistency, usually ~BTA price since they're all BTA. If someone wants only 1-2 keys, like you, I'll charge less than normal, but if they want 3+ keys, it's more worth it to just sell the full bundle (for the buyer). I've had to think for a while before setting my general price ranges, it's taken months :). Sorry if it seems like I rambled on a lot, just thought I'd get my thought process out there ;).
Well I do the same thing but not on such a large scale. It's a dollar investment and then ~$5 and you get 4 bundles. You sell them for $7.50 each, so you are more than quadrupling your 'investment' at the price you are selling, even if you write off the 1st copy that you bought for yourself as completely free. That's fine if your price is firm at $5 for 2 keys, it's just not something I will buy because both are terrible games that noone would buy except for cheap to boost their game count.
I'm not getting 4, I'm getting 8, there's more to cover. And also, it's not a dollar investment, to get that many copies it's cost me about $14. I'm just setting my bundles at about BTA price, which should honestly be fair, it's not fair that I have to spend $7.50 on a bundle for myself, then $14 on bundles to sell, just to get bundles to people cheaper, I mean, they still are BTA bundles, they should be somewhat expected to buy them at a reasonable price, people buy $1 bundles and sell them for $2, so I would think it's reasonable to sell a BTA bundle at, not more than BTA, but at the cost they would have had to pay. The key prices are a little hard to distinguish, but I do feel that people shouldn't get for $2 what they would have had to pay $7.50 for (and that I paid $7.50 for). Think of it as paying for something that's a limited edition, you shouldn't get something cheaper after it's gone, the price should go up. And I understand that the games aren't the most desired out there, but if you ask for BTA games, it's still fair to ask a reasonable price for them (and btw, I've sold a few copies at $7.50 so far as well as bundle keys for a little less than 50% off in the past, every tradeable game in my inventory was received from key trades (other than 3 of them)). You just have to e patient and wait for the people willing to buy them ;) Also, there's not too many of them circulating anymore, so they should be worth something, right :)
you do not have to buy a BTA bundle on day 1 in order to get 4 BTA bundles during happy hour. You can buy a 1 dollar bundle. also I trade and sell keys so i can sympathize with your points. That was such a shit bundle I didn't even buy it. Then I started to collect games so I figured if i could trade or buy those 2 games at a decent price, that were too shitty for me to even bother getting at the time. but if you expect anywhere near store price for games that noone EVER buys even on sale at the steam store, I can't really counter offer that.
I'll take a look and think about it, nothing I really want too bad from your list (not enough to trade Dungeons), but I'll keep checking it as you update it and let you know.
