Thanks! Please try to keep the forum clean of those "Have coupons - Want games" threads! If they were at lease a "coupon exchange" it would be ok :P
Then you should see this... Add me if you want any additional info (PrettyLittlePony on steam). The thread that was posted on here was by Pilkis, but has since been deleted and Motherfucker Jones has blocked me on steam.
I added Pilkis who directed me to noah- (Motherfucker Jones) who supposedly had Dota 2. I started talking to Motherfucker Jones and we agreed on a coal amount and went into trade only to be told that he didn't have it. He said that its actually his friend that has it and that he wanted coal first... More info in the pictures below.

Edit:
Also, Pilkis is in this if not the same person as Motherfucker Jones. If you check my conversation with Pilkis he first directed me to the user below (Grimmjow) - http://steamcommunity.com/id/vvvvvvvvvvvvv/ and he got scammed out of coal as well. I am willing to bet he accidentally copied his name and pasted to me instead of Motherfucker Jone's name account.

dead island accounts? ._.
I suggest you
1) Ban all key trading
2) Implement a fair trading scheme not just [H] Games [W] Offers
Actually, i think there should be a Rep. system in place and constant warnings not to do key trades unless they have a high Rep. Of course it would need to be worked out to avoid people spamming + or - Rep on certain accounts, Like, a section on each thread for every trade that went down, both parties would agree a trade went down and both would add or minus Rep. and like steamgifts "Percent Received by Users" and "Not Received" peoples profiles would show the amount of trades done, the percentage of good trades (i.e. 100% Rep if you've never gotten a negative) and the amount of times they got bad rep.
Oh, also, in this supposed section there could be a comment part along with the +,- rep and those comments and what rep they got would show up like how past giveaways show up on peoples profiles on SteamGifts.
cg has plans on how to handle this in the near future. Until then, this will have to do.
don't know why you suggest for banning the key trading seems when ppl agree to trade these keys means they allow themselves to take risk.
like in a thread, I offered Golwar to trade his DotA 2 for my Shogun 2 Steam key (I bought it from Amazon) and he agreed. I remembered that you, Scruffy was the one who told him not to trade with me even I had had a lot of rep before. And the answer from him to you was our successful trade and the happiness from both of us.
Then it means not all the key trading are scam, right?
We will not ban all key trading, only what has been confirmed as exploited. Someone running around with 2,200 Dead Island retail keys doesn't seem right to allow, considering the value of that game.
I agree with @Scruffy.
Also an email notifier (or something) for new replies would be nice.
Just a suggestion, could we have the searching by thread creator's name function in the Search bar? because everytime I want to find my threads, i have to remember some keywords from what I posted, and sometimes, if I want to find others' threads and forgot the name, I cannot find them anymore until someone suddenly bump it up.
or you can just make it into an extra tab or put it in your bookmark toolbar assuming you have one? But yea, a search function would be useful, though, im wondering how game titles could be implemented in that, cause im not really looking for a specific trader, but a specific game being traded.
Greetings SteamTrades community,
It's getting to the point I'm receiving far too many PMs and tickets to continue only casually observing this community. Going forward, I will monitor this community more closely. I will work with others on creating an official SteamTrades FAQ and please note that if you're banned on SteamTrades, it will also apply on SteamGifts and SteamGameSales.
