He may not have scammed on Steamtrades (yet) but we have a banned reddit scammer among us. Already has a warning tag on Steamrep.
He is apparently -repping people from reddit back to protect his steamtrades rep. What a pain.

This should be made a sticky. All the info in 1 place is what we need on here.
Im not an Admin / Mod, im only other trader, so... only try help community and fight vs impersonators. People with high rep like me, always have problems cause of impersonators.

Current Alias DarrellSin (which is my steam name), but he originally tried to change his name to my Steam Trades forum name. Please don't let a total fool like this scam you.
He has copy pasted my rep as a comment to himself. He has 2 games and no playtime. A pretty feeble attempt, but putting it here for the record.
Do what I am doing and just add these impersonators to your block list before they even have a chance to scam you.

I have reported on Steam Rep.
I just got scammed.
He ripped me off using a fake profile name, his address is ( http://steamcommunity.com/id/chasenumsky/ ), I gave him Don't Starve and Portal 2 then he disconnected, removed me from friends and changed his profile name.

What makes steam support ban impersonators? Do you have any template for an abuse report? What words can be used to describe his behavior and make steam support ban him for life?
Unfortunately, scammers list is getting big, so I will keep updated with the latest 25 scammers identified. I think is enought.

Unfortunately one of the victims still isn't convinced that I didn't scam him (hence the negative rep), but I hope the situation will change soon.

Uzuhl u are lucky one, cuz no one of your impersonators gave u negative rep and u have bunch of impersonators. Recently I found out that I have impersonator and he gave me negative rep and destroys my pure clean no negative reputation :(

Nope. People give me a lot of negative rep. Always the same, a hard work to explain to the poor guy that was scammed that im not a scammer. Exist multiple forms to see this: Inventory history, Last chat saved, friends added... etc. No lucky, hard work and 1 year experience on this....

I meant on guys that impersonate not ppl that got scammed, guy that impersonate me have nothing to lose if he gave me neg rep just because he can.
Then solution is Easy. Take a picture of the scammer profile (in picture should see the url ID and is good too if see last names used), and send a report to:

Steamgifts and Steamtrades have the same admins / mods. They can quit your negative rep from scammer. I saw the profile of your impersonator just now. Is quite clear. This user should be banned.

Usually impersonators use secundary account without games, so they cant login in steamtrades (no negative reps). This impersonator is stupid.
I got 2 scammer in one day D: and them got me I lost black ops 2 and 8 usd D:
If u Post here his steam profile ID, I can add those impersonators to the list.
I feel like it would be a smart move to confirm adds on the forum before you go through with a trade--especially if a trade involves PayPal or some other means where it isn't instant like a Steam trade. I don't even accept adds unless I know they are coming.

Those Scammers are usually called Impersonators. This scam mode is more and more frequent in steamtrades. Although the user has been banned of the web, it can keep on doing it equally. They use profiles with great reputation (as mine for example), they put themselves on the same image and the same name and the profile is private, they use our url of steamtrades.
Please Check Steam ID of the user before trade keys.
Use SteamRep to check the real Steam ID of the user that added u to trade and compare with ID of user linked in steamtrades.
I Make this Post to alert all community of traders about this. We can use this post to identify scammers and paste here his steam IDs and more info. If u has been scammed from a user that have a lot of rep, before give him -rep in steamtrades, check the ID, maybe u has beed scammed with a False Identity scammer.
