But the problem is someone else can reuse the key at will - that's it - the original trader.

You hold the sticker of authenticity. You ARE the owner not him (buyer).
Assuming you have malicious intent (didn't say you have), you can reclaim the key once it's been sent to the buyer because you have the sticker. Call Microsoft, have them deactivate the key and claim back yours.
This is assuming these keys come with the authenticity certificates in the first place. >.>
