As far as I know, a PS3 copy cannot be registered on Steam without being tied in to signing in to your PSN account. Be aware of this issue when trading, it may be deemed invalid if you try to use it without connecting to your PSN account.

My friend gave me his Portal 2 key (which he got from his PS3 copy and he doesn't has steam) and I recently purchased Portal 2. So now I'm stuck with a copy of the game.
