Okay I'm gonna throw one more at you, this one is more adult (storyline, characters etc.) than stuff like Bleach (I used to love Bleach but I always wanted better story writing that actually ends somewhere) and there isn't as much fighting as most. But when there is fighting, it's amazing. It's called Seirei no Moribito or Guardian of the Spirit

Well I would really like to recommend Fairy Tail, Clannand & Naruto.
3 totally different animes with their own very personal touch to it.
Clannand focuses a lot about history where Naruto is a lot about fighting and Fairy tail is just in between :)

I watched some episodes of this but I got confused. Does it show you alternate stories everytime? I hate when they die in one episode and then their back alive in the next one
