Given as how you could easily have several hundred friends on your Steam account who you might share gift links with (as well as friends who come and go from your list), I personally don't think Humble can actually validate their claim that you violated ToS unless you expressly admitted to trading. Therefore, when Humble bans accounts because they suspect a ToS violation that they can't actually prove, and given as how their own policies allow you to gift extras to your friends (and there is no appreciable difference between gifting something, trading the same item, or selling the same item, considering the reasoning they offer for that aspect of their ToS), I think a class action against Humble would be successful, especially when you consider that they use the threat of a ToS violation to also at times refuse account support. I would sign onto such a lawsuit.

Thank you for reading and your comment.
I thought about it at first, but decided to appeal to their kind side.
To my surprise they don't have a "kind" side. The word "Humble" seems... I don't know misleading.

Plus, how much will I have to lose to gain my account back, which only has sentimental value and ~$1000 worth of content.
I honestly don't know much about lawsuits.

Thank you again.

At the very least, it seems like they would be required to at least provide you with everything you already purchased.

They banned him because of his referrals. They rarely issue bans for not activating your games on your own account (which would really be an easy case).
But restricting access to things you have ALREADY PAID, no matter the reason, is sooo illegal at least in the European Union. If they do it to someone who has the cash and time to take them to court they are done for.
The best part is bots steal tens of thousands of giveaway keys, there are people buying hundreds of their bundles directly (I get mine only from people so I ain't breaking their ToS in that regard) but Humble does nothing to stop them. Instead they ban average users.

Yep. Banning access to things you already purchased should be the basis for pursuing something against Humble. 100% would be judged in the consumers favor (well, 95% certain lol).

Thank you for saying that.
I'll take the "average" and say "loyal". Because, since I posted this on reddit, I've been contacted by multiple people with over 7 years of dedication, who have been banned.

It's common it seems :(, although I've never read anything or heard anything about it.

Btw, a lot of the books that get bundled are also available on pirate bay. I see no moral issue (only legal) downloading them from there if you have already paid for them once. You can also browse b-ok.org

I haven't heard anyone else. I know i'm not the only one, but never read any story about it.

You haven't heard, because OF obvious reasons.

I can't justify their ban but we all know their store regional prices, gift links, and even referral links are open to abuse. It is also their problem and they can't do much about it except banning you at one mistake which is simply put asking help from their support. So, you are in a mistake. It sounds totally bullshit, I know.
Some say it has become more rigid after IGN purchase. Dunno about that. Their support suck. That is it.

Although it is really laughable and absurd that they have banned your second account I'd say you either got to file a lawsuit or just give up. I don't give a much about DRM free stuff but if you have softwares-books-comics etc. I am sorry for your loss. I am not sure if you could save them as links and would still have access after getting banned. Don't want to try it anyway :/

Thanks for your comments my friend.
I laughed hard when they banned my second account with no grounds what so ever, "Just cause why not".
And they baited me in providing evidence, which is really low.

I do want to sue them. I don't know might try it, since a lot of people are starting to do the same.

Cheers,
