Edit 5: I believe all deals have been resolved (about 15). Have changed review to positive.
Edit 4: At the moment only 1 deal remains to be resolved.
Edit 3: We are reached an agreement regarding this deal - not the market value of Phoenix Point game keys, but a close value to the games traded around 4 months ago.
I'm only keeping this negative until 2 other deals are settled.
A few months ago he traded close to 10 keys for a game, to several users. Those keys were for Beta versions, not valid for the game's final release. He has been warned about this for several months now and is making very little effort in solving the problem. I will keep this negative until I get a proper solution to all the users involved in that trade.
Edit:
Well, it seems he didn't trade 10 keys after all. I found 5 people that traded with him, + 2 keys he traded with me.
From those prints below, one of them I already knew, so add 4, and that's 11.
I asked him where did those keys come from (because after our first trade, he asked me if I wanted to trade for a second key). He told me the keys were from some friends of his.
I warned him, right after we made the trade, 3 months ago, that those keys would not be valid for the final version.
He said it would be ok, that his friends would give him the new keys when they were released. So he had those people waiting for him for 3 months. he did not, at that time, offered to return the games I had traded with him.
The second I got my own key from Snapshotgames, a few days before the game was released, (because I was a registered backer), I warned him about it - he said to wait until the game was released. At that time, there were people selling platinum keys for 30~35 euros online.
During all this time waiting, I've been updating him on all of the relevant Phoenix Point news I got.
A few days after the game was released, he was still waiting for his friends to give him the keys, but it seems his friends didn't respond. So he went to search for the games I had traded with him, as if the value of those games from 3 months ago would be the same today. The games I gave, and that he traded in the meantime, have lost value. The closer thing to a Platinum Edition is now the Ultra, that now costs about 75 euros.
Should he have bought Ultra keys for everyone that traded with him? Yes he should - all the traders involved gave him the games he asked for, none of them got the Platinum keys he traded. So perhaps he made a bad deal with his friends/suppliers, but he is still responsible for his side on the trades he made with all the other people.
That said, when he said he was unsure he would get Platinum keys from his friends, I told him that if he could get me one key, I would forget the second one. At that time he also told me he had 2 keys, a personal one, and one from a friend. As far as I know, he made zero effort in getting any more keys.
In the meantime, I found a few the people he traded with, some were not even aware that the keys would not work and were trying to trade them believing the keys were valid - McEngineer didn't even bother contacting the people about it, he just waited for them to come complaining.
I created a group in Steam to help resolve this mess:
https://steamcommunity.com/groups/phoenixplatinum
I invited all the people related (including him). Some people were ok if they got the standard version of Phoenix Point instead of the Platinum.
I searched the web for people selling Phoenix Point keys, and sent him a link from Steamtrades.
As far as I know, he didn't contact the people. He told me that if I could find someone selling a Platinum key, he would pay for it.
I found only one person selling a digital download key, and invited him to the steam group, thinking McEngineer could buy that key and give it to one of the other people. He didn't even contact that person. 2 days after, and no one had bought or traded that key, so I took it into my own hands, traded that key with the user, and gave it to one of the other guys. At that point I decided to change my review of this trade to negative. When I give him a user with a valid key and he made no effort to get it, it was clear to me he just was not caring enough.
For all interested, here's a copy paste from our texts together. Steam doesn't store unlimited chat messages, so most of our chat is now gone.

Edit 2: we are currently negotiating a trade for other games on his list.

Trade for Phoenix point with him, got backer build key, that I found out was just a beta key after the game was released. Since he said Phoenix point (Platinum Edition), he clearly lied. (Platinum Edition)

+rep very trustworthy trader!! recommended :D
Rep went from positive to negative to positive again.
Traded for a game, which was later found out to be a beta key. In the end the person didn't seem to know they were beta keys, and made good with a different trade.
great and friendly trader, +rep
+REP Nice and great trader. They are new to barter.vg, so still learning but we were able to discuss clarifications to an offer. Fair trade and appreciated, thank you!
Update: We did have some issues with our trade for Phoenix Point - Platinum, I was given the backer build and not the full like a couple of other traders. They made sure to compensate me to satisfaction and kept in communication. Thanks again for that!
+Rep. Good trader: fast, fair and friendly. Update: the key I was given, that the trader claimed was the full release Platinum edition of Phoenix Point with all the DLC, turned out to be just a beta key 4 months after the trade. I considered leaving negative rep but I believe now that it was just a simple mistake. I reached out for an explanation and some sort of compensation and the trader was willing to cooperate mostly because of the initiative and support of other affected traders all in a similar situation
+Rep, great trader, fast and friendly. Recommended.
