This trader sent me an offer on Barter which I accepted and we added each other on Steam. However, after I had sent my Arma II key to make sure it was working, he / she stopped communicating. I tried contacting him / her on steam for the next 5 days to see what was going on, but I received no more response on either Steam or Barter (while he / she was still actively handling other offers on the site and going online / offline on Steam).
The main reason I'm leaving this negative feedback is not that I might have lost a steam key (not sure if it is used yet), but the complete lack of communication afterwards. I'd be open to this trader contacting me to resolve this as this is the first time I'm leaving a negative feedback and I'd prefer not to do that.
Some more details:
- I made the mistake of sending my key over before confirming with them they'd be ok with trying it out / confirming the trade was still on. This is one of the reasons I'd have been fine with just cancelling the offer if I had had some kind of response. The other is that I said that I'd prefer a gift link and they indicated they didn't have one. I then responded with that a key would also be fine, after which I never heard anything more back.
