Yeah, always, I have never traded with someone without seeing their profile, tells you a lot right away. Hopefully they can get that back for you, did you purchase the key? Maybe you could chargeback or something like that?
Too bad, hopefully they ban him soon, seems like they need to investigate it further, not sure how long that will take though.
Just to give you a heads up, the case you sent is under review, but it still lists me as the scammer, hope they don't get confused, they are making me give more proof for my own case.
Honestly, hate to break it to you but when I got scammed, not only did steam not do jacksh*t and never took the games away, they will never give you your money or game back. It sucks.
The most they get is a trade ban usually, so Steam really sucks when it comes to scammers.
Not completely true. I got scammed one time and I asked Steam Support. I said I had sent it to the wrong person (I mean, they can't tell!) and after a few hours to a day they refunded it.
You just need a decent backstory, whether it's true or not.

Maybe, you would want to contact Steam support. But as soon as you mention PayPal, they most likely won't do much, don't think support does much in the first place anyway.
Glad you guys have blocked this particular individual. Guaranteed this guy just created a new account and is still trying to scam others so just watch out for impersonators.
Always be sure to check IDs, profiles, Steam rep, etc.

I did, I reported him above but they never did anything at Steam Rep, still asking for more info.
I posted on there and said he was impersonating me and now another member. You should start a thread on Steam Rep and report him also, so should Noctaris or anyone who comes in contact with him, only way to get him banned is if more people report him.
