Half life 2 = 4.99..... A whopping difference of .49 which I graciously offered to make up in keys or trading cards.... yes clearly I'm trying to con people... No thank you, you can keep your games, I'll hold off for trading with someone who has a basic understanding of how commerce works.
Also if you were talking about HL 2 when it's on sale... your games get even less valuable, E.Y.E will eventually be 1 dollar with Monaco being it's cheapest right now at 2.99..

I can see you're one of THOSE stupid Americans who think that the world ends at the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and have failed to realize that I'm in fucking Europe. In the European Steam Store HL 2 costs 3.49 EURO E.Y.E costs 2.49(also EURO) and Monaco costs 2.19 EURO. As you can see the difference is 1.19 euro, not 0.49 dollars like in your store. And 1.19 euro means about 1.6 dollars. I don't even own the fucking games, I just wanted to buy ONE of them, so I could get your copy of HL2(which you don't need since you already have the game in your library) 1 euro cheaper than I would by buying it from the store. Cause that's the whole point of a trade: to get a better deal than in the store. And you're offering me cards? Again, why would I do that? We negotiate at MY PRICES because I'm the one that has to take money from his pocket, NOT you. Your offer is worse than the Steam Store and you make me the villain in this? What nerve...
The point of a trade is to exchange goods you don't need or want for goods that you do want. I don't particularly want any of the three games you offered, I figured I had Half life 2 sitting there unused, why not throw out an offer of 2 of your games for the one you wanted. You were the one who got all bent out of shape over the offer. I didn't even look at the prices outside of knowing that E.Y.E would be on sale at some point for 1 dollar. Monaco is on sale now for 2.99... I don't know, nor care to know the difference in price between the American and Euro store. Why would I, I don't live in an area that uses that currency.
In the future, if you dislike someone's counter offer you should just say, I don't like that offer and be done with it. The fact that you took the time and energy to negatively reply to my post is pretty funny imo. Especially you taking the time to point out that I'm a "stupid American".
Furthermore, do you think my copy of Half Life 2 purchased itself, I had to pay for it, I had it for at least 2 weeks prior to the sale starting, not that it matters even if I had purchased it during the sale. It's not like I got it for free.
