Accepting Trading Cards or Community Items as a form of payment.

Value given to your card or item is dependent on market value at the time of the trade.
My exchange rate is based on what the seller receives if they sold a card, not what the transaction costs the buyer. In each sale there are fees taken based on a percentage which varies per game and a flat Valve percentage. These fees do not factor in to the value I place on a card.
For example, Medic selling for $0.27 includes $0.02 game fee and $0.01 Valve fee, so the seller only receives $0.24 and this is the starting value for me. I take this value and round it down to something easily calculated 5 for $1, 2 for $1.50, etc. The rounding down is because I'm not the market, but I will accept them as payment. I'm not unreasonable, but if you want full value for the cards, sell them for money and then trade.

Do's:

Gift swap (Swap a tradeable gift for key of the same game get another key absolutely free!!)
Paypal is fine so long as you cover any fees
Trading Cards and other community items can be used as payment. Credit given for items will depend on current market value.

Don'ts:

Dota (just don't bother, it will be ignored)
Metro 2033 (same deal)
No Beta keys
No random adds, offer here first
