it's a game i'm well prepared to trade because i know i've got more keys for it coming soon - but i couldn't see anything i need on your regular list. it wasn't really helped by you classing some actually current bundle games/really recent stuff as "high value trades only" Metrocide/ironclad tactics/sword of the stars" - these games aren't the same as Mass Effect 2 or Dragon Age, so i found it all a bit puzzling tbh (https://groupees.com/wdn3 - i can buy that version of Sword of the Stars with 2 other games for $1). We are talking about bundle games, there's no sense going on values. At most if a game is/was from a regular tier or BTA can matter. U said 2 games for it, now 4. I guess u aren't in good faith, so, thanks.
i've had this conversation with people before. your opinion is wrong.
usually there are 2 or 3 games in a bundle that are good, the others are not good. people buy the bundle for the good games. that means people are paying for the 3 games they actually want, and the others are junk. which means that each game cannot be worth the same.
when a new bundle comes out, everybody buys it, they keep the good games for themselves, and they come here on Steamgifts to try and trade the bad ones or they give them away. that's why you see hundreds of the same few games being given away at the same time. the good games from the same bundle? you don't see them.
some games in bundles are worth more than others.
and when the bundle has gone, when it's in the past, you cannot buy it at bundle price anymore. it's just a normal game again. and the price is different.
the bundles your games came from don't exist anymore, just the games. and the one's of yours i was interested in... i can get them really easily here on Steamgifts, and cheaply. Eador? Not so much.
but i respect your opinion. i really disagree with it, but it's fine.

it'll sell too, sooner or later. you've got some good titles, for trade, but since they're common they've got less actual monetary value - so i'd want 3/4 of your titles to get the same worth, and unless you're desperate for that collection it's not a good deal for you.

i was interested in Edna and Harvey the breakout (I have the sequel which is supposed to be good), until i read about how short and frustrating it can be. 4pm looked really interesting to me, until i read the steam reviews. one person said "just watch it on youtube" lol. the only other thing i'm interested in is Face Noir, but i have so many half-decent point and click games now. I was obsessed with getting Alcatraz 1954. i finally got it, still not played it.
i don't know. i guess if you were prepared to swap Face Noir for it and throw Harvey in with it to sweeten the deal, i wouldn't feel like i was being robbed. i'd kind of like having the two games (edna and harvey), but i'm not prepared to trade much to achieve that.
i guess it comes down to whether or not you think Edna and Harvey has much trade value on it's own. and i don't know the answer to that.

It's invite only. the group is used for alpha testing and developers asking questions and bouncing around ideas and then they often release a bunch of keys for free or very cheap at release. You get asked by someone you thought was just a random Steam friend to join a group and then you have this other stuff revealed to you and you join an external site. They seem to like people who regularly give games away. Technically I'm still a member of their off-steam website, but I left a while ago. The guy who runs it is annoying and highly attention seeking.

Hey mate, I've read that cards are not a good thing to you, if you're interested in Mass Effect 2 for cards, how many would that be? or $$ worth in cards?
after i'd sold the cards i'd like to be left with about $3, which i don't think's unreasonable. but they'd have to be cards that sell often and at a steady rate. i'd also take the time to check them over. i've had people artificially inflate the cover value of their cards, drop a load on me, and then me be left with a load of crap.

I mostly like to trade. If I have a recent bundle game and you have a recent bundle game I like = trade.
If you or I have a "big" expensive game, I don't mind exchanging a number of smaller ones for it. I like negotiating.
"Big" Steam tradeables are no problem at all. Keys, ToD, crates - whatever. NO REF. And NO CARDS - I've been scammed too many times.
I like to trade games, but not everybody has the money to be able to collect and trade games. So, that's why I'll sometimes take Steam tradeables. It's also why I, eventually, started accepting Paypal. It's cheaper and easier for some people - so if I trust you, I'll do it. If you pay by Paypal I'll usually sell a little cheaper, because we both benefit - I don't have to pay Steam Tax and I like having actual money to spend on more game bundles, so everybody kind of wins. Ask me about prices. If you're buying several games, I'll sell slightly cheaper still.
Not all previously bundled games are equal. Planetary Annihilation is not the same as Space Hack. Woolfe was recently bundled. It won't be sold cheap or be bundled again anytime soon - they bundled it to raise the game's profile, and that bundle was sold pretty much on the back of that one game. Bundles often have 2 or 3 good games and the rest are junk, so don't get all pissy with me and insist that a game that was once in a bundle is worth almost nothing. It's often not the case. The $3/4 I spent on that bundle was sometimes FOR THAT ONE GAME. I'm left with lots of junk that will never, ever, trade.
Also, a look through my list will show that quite a number of my games aren't from bundles. Some keys I've bought direct from developers just before launch (there's a Steam Group that deals in this) and I've just had quite a while, some games were bought in sales - but were still bought for actual proper money. So, when negotiating don't be a jerk if you don't understand my reasoning for something. Just ask why I've come to my opinion and I'll tell you why something is the way it is.
